Hi there!

My name is Skyler Zinn, and my husband (Colton) and I are based in Central Illinois. We’ve been married for five years; no kids besides our two cat children! I am a travel ICU nurse specializing in trauma and neurosurgical critical care. I was a staff nurse at a hospital in my hometown until June 2021, when I left my job to start travel nursing. I quit my job, bought a house, chopped my long hair, and dyed my hair blue all in the same week!

Once I started taking contracts further from my hometown, I convinced my husband to quit his job and come with me. Because of the freedom that traveling nursing provides us, my husband, our friends, and I have gotten to explore the United States. We got new passports in 2022, so we’re excited to finally “cross the pond”! I have always loved to write and have been fascinated by travel since I was a little girl, so I became inspired to start a blog documenting our adventures. This blog is the scrapbook of our lives and will hopefully help you on your travel journey too!
